Can somnio replace psychotherapy?

Our digital app somnio can not replace psychotherapy. We therefore recommend all users to first consult a medical or psychotherapeutic specialist for indication and use. So you individual situation and background which is not considered by a digital app like somnio can be taken into account. 

The aim of somnio is to improve the symptomatology of the diagnosis F51.0 non-organic insomnia (e.g. problems falling asleep and staying asleep) and to get to know one's own sleep behavior better. somnio implements the contents and modules of cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (KVT-I) in a digital way. 

Somnio is not suitable for persons facing acute crises esspecially in presence of suicidal thoughts and/or intentions.
