I am going through menopause. How can I improve my sleep quality?

Hot flashes may occur during menopause which may affect your sleep negatively. A cool bedroom temperature and light sleepwear can help you with this.

You can also use breathable cotton or linen bedding and prepare different sheets, blankets or sleepwear to use or remove as needed. Also, have a change set of sleepwear underwear ready so that you can change effortlessly in case of night sweats and don't get cold..

During the day, you can counteract hot flashes by avoiding highly spiced or spicy meals, caffeine, nicotine and alcohol. Make sure to intergrate relaxation exercises into your evening routine.

If you have severe menopausal symptoms, please consult with your doctor.
